Learn More About the Bassett House

The Bassett House, home of Hingham Furniture & Design Home of Framing Concepts, was built in the 1600s on Bakers Island and was later moved from Bakers Island in the 1700s to its current location.

Hingham Furniture & Design Home of Framing Concepts is now located in downtown Hingham, MA. Diana recently purchased the historic Bassett house and has worked to bring it back to life. She believes in preserving the charm of the downtown business district.

The historic building has now undergone a makeover. The outside of the building is repainted, the iron stairway is replaced with a wooden one, and the carpet is removed. All this has made the interior and exterior of the building look elegant and beautiful.
